What Owners are Saying About the 1993 Mercedes-Benz 600 SL
"nice car"
"This car is fun to drive but can cost you a lot of money when something goes wrong. The catalyst converters can block and reduce the car's power. When everything is working you get a car with excellent ride qualities and reasonable power."
"Best bang for your buck - Powerful V12 Mercedes"
"I love this car. Its fast. Its smooth. Its full of over engineered parts and features. It drives and feels like a modern sports car. Its very reliable. Yes, parts are more expensive than other cars, but thats what you pay for when you own any Mercedes. The 600sl seems to be more reliable overall compared to the 500sl. Gas milage is great. (sometimes over 25 MPG on the highway) I highly recommend this car to anyone seeking a reliable, comfortable, sports car with enough torque to make you smile for days."
"Fast car"
"We have owned this car for 11 years. It is a very expensive auto to own. We have found that only the dealer can do the repairs and maintenance. Other do not have proper equipment for this car. The car has something wrong with it every year to the tune of at least $1000.00 plus your regular oil change and brakes. We keep it because of what it cost and what we have paid to keep it in excellent condition. We are down to only driving it in the summer."
