"I bought my 91 Previa with 196000 miles on it and other than needing a carpet cleaning ,new front struts ,and cleaning out the throtal body(the metal part where the air is introduced to the engine located under the drivers seat) which i did myself for about 6.00 for the cleaner at my local parts store and about 30 to 40 min. of time. I get 17 mpg city and 22 mpg hyw, not as good as you would expect from a 4 Clyinder but for the power and room not bad. over all i give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. So if you are thinking of buying a Previa GO FOR IT !!! (If the price is not over Retail) Signed WEB_KAHUNA_NEIL oh yea it now has 215000 on it."

"If Enzo Ferrari ever dreamed of building a mini-van, he would have designed it in America, built it in Japan, and called it Previa. I gave my wife a new Previa 20 years ago and it has been the lowest cost, most reliable, fun vehicle we have ever owned. Its serviceability has been virtually bullet- proof. The most expensive single item we have had was to use an expert to replace our vehicles paint, and restore its original eye-appeal. With its 50% front x 50% rear weight distribution, laid-flat mid-engine design platform, and lowest center of gravity of any van ever built, the Previa remains far ahead of its time. The horizontally mounted 2.4L power plant has double overhead camshafts, Roots style supercharger, and carefully designed aluminum tuned exhaust system come together to make the Previas handling characteristics and driving experiences the envy of many a sports cars. The interior space is huge. It has a flat floor and 4 rotating captains chairs, which allow for easy access from the front to back. Theres enough room to travel with the whole family including our pets, and turn road trips a real joy."

"I have had my Previa LE van for 15 years and have not had any major problems. It took 10 years before the battery was even replaced; shocked the salesman who insisted that it couldn't have been the original battery. It now has almost 139,000 miles. Love the dependability. The purchase price wasn't cheap but when I think about the previous 3 American cars I owned and all the problems I had with them, this was definitely worth the money. The only reason for giving it 4 stars on "Comfort" is because riding in the back seat can be somewhat bumpy."
