What Owners are Saying About the 2026 Nissan Frontier King Cab
"Good truck"
"I have only one complaint about this truck in that it has a wide turning radius. Other than this I think it’s a better truck than Toyota. Quieter, more powerful and has a better ride."
"Not sure what quality standard JD Power uses?"
"Not sure if JD Powers quality award to nissan is a reflection on a bad standard or a sad state of affairs for overall vehicle manufacturers. 3 weeks in to owning a brand new 2025 Nissan Frontier long bed CC SL and I am finding some very dissapointing quality issues as follows: Pop the hood and it is very apparent the paint work is not what you would expect. Lack of coverage under the hood on the passenger side at the front of the hood. Enough lack of coverage that there is about 9 square inch area where you can see the primer. looking down the pinch weld area under the doors, you can see undercoating along the seam sealer. This is not isolated to this area and is apparent in other area's. The rock chip plastic transparent stickers in the area's of the back doors and front of the bed, show air bubbles and one of the stickers loose at the edge. Not that big of a deal at this point in time. However this is Florida and within a year or two with heat cycles each day, this air in the pockets will expand and get bigger. Then they will invariably turn yellow and be very noticable. Unfortunately no faith in nissan to do what is right in a couple of years from now to replace them. The black weather stripping on the front windshield at the base is not centered. After noticing this while shopping for a frontier, I have noticed a number of frontiers with this manufacturing defect. To include the one I bought. This issue was brought up at the time of purchase as well as the air bubbles. More on this later. Went to take the drivers floor mat out to vacuum and found that the INBD hold down clip was loose. these clips are about the cheapest clips you will ever see. they are designed as a rectangular loop that goes around two slots in the carpet in a longtidunal plane of the vehicle. At the forward end is a snap to hold it to the carpet. The one on mine does not latch and looks like the catch was never manufactured into it. Rear dome light is intermittent on the setting for operating when opening the door. Rear drivers side door sounds like a 3 year old in a bathtub, door has a significant amount of water that sloshes around in it and does not drain. Approached 3 dealerships with question of getting these addressed. Been told that nissan policy is to drop vehicle off so a Master Tech can look at the vehicle. They say this is required by nissan before they can make another appointment for the customers return to get repairs completed and be provided a vehicle by nissan. My chief complaint to nissan customer service was the excessive time they are placing on owners of the vehicles to leave the vehicle at the dealership, when a simple walk around by the service writer or a tecnician would take all of 15 minutes to verify these simple items. Spoke to Asekha at nissan customer service, all she did was try and insult me by telling me it is a dealer issue and not a nissan issue. 3 seperate dealerships ex;lained the nissan policy to me very clearly. sugest before you purchase, give vehicle a thorough look over and not take delviery until quality issues are resolved."
"Great features. SL is loaded !"
"I researched lots of trucks. The reliability was not good and prices were through the roof ! Dependability is my first and biggest requirement. Nissan Frontier fits the best in reliability department. Then come the bells and whistles. The SL has all the comfort and luxury features and will impress you."
