The Metris is a rear-wheel-drive truck in a field of front-wheel-drive competition, and it has the towing and hauling capacity to match. It's also fuel-efficient and offers a bevy of driver-assist features like blind-spot monitoring and parallel-parking assist.

While this is a Mercedes-Benz, remember it's the branch of the family tree that makes work trucks; there's no fine leather, hand-polished wood or aromatherapy here. While nice, even the passenger version is utilitarian; as a family hauler it's handily outclassed by the Honda Odyssey or Chrysler Pacifica.
What's New for 2017
Mercedes-Benz now offers an in-house upfitting program called Master Solutions, allowing prospective Metris buyers to work with customizers like Smartliner, Knapheide and Gruau for unique solutions to work problems, and the fold those modifications into the monthly payment. A new low-priced Worker model helps bring down the price of Metris ownership.
