- Nissan’s smallest SUV gets the rugged Rock Creek treatment.

Nissan is putting a little more leg into the 2027 Kicks with a new Rock Creek edition, the brand announced today.
The Rock Creek trim is a cosmetic off-road package first offered on the Nissan Pathfinder 3-row SUV and Rogue compact SUV, which is the Nissan’s bestseller.
“The 2027 Kicks Rock Creek is for drivers who want more adventure from their daily drive, with trail-ready styling and added confidence when the road ends,” Marco Fioravanti, vice president, product planning, Nissan U.S. and Canada, said in a statement.
What Is the Kicks Rock Creek?
The Rock Creek adds superficial elements such as 17-inch wheels with an exclusive design, gloss black mirrors and exterior trim, truck-like amber running lights, along with standard all-wheel drive (AWD). It comes with a roof rack that can carry 165 pounds while moving.
Mechanically, it has an Off-Road mode that sort of numbs the throttle so you can be more intentional about applying power, and it limits traction control to allow for more wheel slip. Hill descent control, which is like cruise control capped at low speeds when going downhill, is also standard.
The ground clearance of 8.4 inches remains the same and the 17-inch wheels are shod in all-season tires. Anyone daring the Kicks on terrain that’s choppier than an access road should consider all-terrain tires.
The Rock Creek builds off the SV trim, but Nissan loads it up with heated front seats and side mirrors, rear heater ducts, ambient lighting, and a surround-view camera. In total, that makes it the most expensive Kicks.
How Much Is the 2027 Nissan Kicks?
The new Kicks Rock Creek tops the lineup at $30,385, edging out the sporty SR grade by $50. The extra features and the distinct look cost $2,350 more than the SV AWD trim, which is $28,035. All listed prices include a mandatory $1,545 destination fee.
Nissan has increased the price of Kicks models only modestly for 2027. The base S trim with front-wheel drive costs $24,335, which is $360 more than the original MSRP of the 2026 Nissan Kicks. This means the latest model is still one of the most affordable new cars on the market.
Oddly, AWD adds $1,500 on the S grade, $2,000 on the SV mid-grade, and $1,800 on the SR trim.
