"I purchased this car used in 2007 with 70,000 miles and I made a promise to myself that I would not purchase a new car till my grand am died. 9 yrs later, my car currently has a little over 247,000 miles and it is still riding smooth! Incredibly reliable and solid. Aside from the way it looks, it is a great car."
Pros: "fun to drive on windy roads, amazing sunroof"
Cons: "cracked windshield"

"The car is in excellent mechanical shape and runs really well, however there are cosmetic issues. The passenger side mirror is dangling, there's a crack across the windshield, the passenger window doesn't roll down, and one of the tires is flat. Cosmetic issues aside, it's an amazing car! I've only had to replace the starter, and that was a couple of years ago. I have had minimal issues with this car and the only reason I'm thinking of selling it is because my fiance and I have another car and don't really need two. Blue Book value is approx. $2,053, but I'd take $1600 since there are some cosmetic issues."
"its a very reliable car, i just bought 4 brand new tires and custom 15" rims as well. the front right end needs a little work im not a mechanic but im sure its just the bearings or something little. the AC is out but the heater works perfect."
"I bought this car as a second owner with a little under 80,000 miles on the engine. I have put a few repairs into it but overall it has been a good driving car, and I drive over 72 miles per day to work and back! Now, at over 230,000 miles the car certainly doesn't owe me anything, but it keeps going!I will keep this car as long as it keeps going!"
Pros: "lots of power, handles well, and good overall car"
Cons: "outdated audio system,"

"This car is a really good first car or daily driver. It's good on gas but still has good power. These pontiacs do have some issues as they get older though. I had to replace the high pressure power steering line, the gas tank leaks if you fill it up 100%, the e-brake on the drivers side rear wheel snapped in half and therefore locking up the wheel so I couldn't drive it. Make sure that the head gasket and intake gaskets are ok before you buy one of these cars. Lastly, don't drive like a dummy all the time because the achilles heel in these older pontiacs are the transmissions, and we all know that getting that fixed isn't cheep."
