For small families and road-tripping adventurers who appreciate a stylish interior and straightforward capability, the 5-passenger Rogue is ready, and its new hybrid version is a fuel-economy standout. Plus, if fate requires, the non-hybrid Rogue does offer a 7-passenger/3rd-row option which is understandably tight, but serviceable for young kids.
When the time comes to sell, the Rogue isn’t expected to hold its value quite as well as the resale leaders: Subaru Forester, Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and the new Kia Sportage. If you need your small SUV for regular towing, the Rogue will likely lose out to the Ford Escape.
