"My 1997 Mazda MX-6 is a keeper -- the "6" is what I call it; I purchased this car after my 1995 (MX-6) was totaled in a car accident about 5 years ago and I've been very pleased. This car is dependable and I could not have gotten a better car for the price.
It's sleek, durable, cool and whereever I go, guys like it and always asking if it's for sell. It's not as sound as it use to be; I can hear a lot of wind when I'm driving but other than that, nothing major. I'm in the market for a new car now but will hold on to the "6"; it's been a great means of transportaion and I would recommend it to anyone between the age of 19-35 years old who does not have kids. It's a players car... :)"
"I bought this car used with 15k miles. I have had it for almost 13 years and i have had to repair only wear and tear elements. I have a 50 mile commute everyday and it just keeps on giving. I still get good gas milage, my a/c still works. It has a little road noise which is bothersome now. I have all the luxuries... power windows/locks, cruise, rear defroster and fold down seats for more room with the trunk.. Teenagers always love my car... i get compliments on it from them almost every time i get gas."
"I have owned my 93 mx6 for a year now, and it has always been an amazing car to me. The styling is top notch, and the materials used on the interior outdo several 2000 and up cars.
The 2.5 litre V6 is loud and gutteral, but not obnoxious. Rather, satisfying and quick to propel this beauty to high speeds with reasonable safety.
I recently totalled my mx6, i was going 70 miles an hour, lost control, and bounced four times between two concrete barriers on either side of the overpass. My airbag deployed, i was kept from harm, and my three friends with me all walked away without a scratch. 70 miles an hour, totalled, and all passengers unscathed. Pretty decent safety if you ask me.
I loved that car, and my next one will surely be another mx6."
