What Owners are Saying About the 2005 Honda Civic

"Extremely reliable!"

"We’ve owned this civic for years now and other than routine maintenance, the only thing we’ve had to replace was a speaker. It has a few small quirks (shaking windshield wipers, shakes when ac is on at a stop) but it got us to and from work all season safely. Sadly though it needs repainted because the sun has taken its tool on the car after 16 years."

"I LOVE MY CAR"

"I bought this car with 5 miles on it. I drove it back and forth all through college and pharmacy school. I moved out of town in 2007 (about 200 miles away) and continue to drive back and forth all the time. I now have almost 120,000 miles on it and with the 4th kid on the way, my husband is finally making me sell it to get something bigger. I have never had any issues with this car. It has been wonderful, reliable, comfortable, and an all around great car."

"Incredibly reliable"

"This car is now 22 years old and still I have less issues than my friends who bought cars less than 6 years old. All you have to look after is rust, but it still holds much better than some of the newer accords. I've been to numerous trips across the mountains, drove it on race tracks, drove it in cold (-28C), drove it in heat (+40) - no problems. It could be faster, but its enough for a daily. I wasn't a big fan of the styling back in the day, but its grown on me. Eventually I fell in love with the car and now I'm doing a lot of bodywork to keep it mint. So here's the summary: Pros: Engine just doesnt quit Reasonably fun to drive Good gas mileage Easy to repair, no complicated electronics Rare to see, feels pretty cool to drive (in Europe at least) Cons: Seats are pretty rough Weak weather seals, not uncommon to leak Bad sound insulation"

2005 Honda Civic Depreciation

Annual Depreciation is an estimation of what your vehicle's value might be over time based on an average of similar vehicles. Estimations are calculated by comparing Kelley Blue Book Private Party Values of vehicles similar to yours over time, as well as forecasts from Manheim Auction data comparing current and projected auction values against current Kelley Blue Book Private Party and Trade-In Values. This is not a guarantee of actual depreciation. Local weather conditions, market factors and driver performance will also impact your vehicle's actual depreciation.
