"I am a college student, who is always up and running. This car is awesome. self containing battery, chain, not a belt! This car also has held its value. You must perform regular oil changes, air filter, fuel filter, brakes and rotors...etc. This car also has a toyota engine and tranny, which is the main reason its value is constant. My dad sold me this car and he is a mechanic that is why i know all these things, and i also worked in a service shop for 4 years."

"BOUGHT THIS CAR WITH 40,OOO MILES AND HAVE PUT 90,000 ON IN THE LAST 4 YEARS. I'VE CHANGE THE OIL EVERY 4,OOO AND HAVE REPLACED THE BRAKES AND TIRES AND THE SERPENTINE BELT. THAT'S BEEN IT. I GET EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE AND THE ENGINE AND SUSPENSION ARE JUST LIKE WHEN I GOT THE CAR. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I'M ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR ANOTHER. I CAN TELL THEY ARE GETTING SCARCE BECAUSE THE PRICES FOR A 2000 ARE ABOUT WHAT I PAID 4 YEARS AGO FOR IT. STILL WORTH IT."

"I bought this car with 80k as I graduated college. 5 years later and another 70k miles and it's been as reliable as the day I bought it. I've replaced tires, brakes...and that's about it. General maintenance has kept this out of the mechanic's hands. The AC is still super cold. The only failings: a burned out dashboard light (not really needed anyways; there are other lights) and the passenger side power lock doesn't work. I got a heck of a bargain when I bought it and will be sad to see it go!"
