"I am a college student, who is always up and running. This car is awesome. self containing battery, chain, not a belt! This car also has held its value. You must perform regular oil changes, air filter, fuel filter, brakes and rotors...etc. This car also has a toyota engine and tranny, which is the main reason its value is constant. My dad sold me this car and he is a mechanic that is why i know all these things, and i also worked in a service shop for 4 years."

"This car has lived up to the Consumer Reports recommendation I read about prior to purchasing. I bought this car new in 1999 and it is still in the family and has 190,000 miles. I commute a lot and the mileage is great and it has been a very reliable car. As far as quality it has about the same quality as any foreign car or average American-made car as far as interior. (example: The cup holder for the back seat riders is plastice and broke off fairly early during ownership.) I guess that true for most cars anyway. Carpeting is not high quality and really needs to be cleaned regularly and mats replaced often. Style is average since it obviously isn't a luxury car. And as far as comfort, it is fine since I am not tall and is reasonable comfort for my husband and boys who all are about 5'11"."

"This car was a great purchase, I bought a 2001 in 2002 with only 27,000 miles on it and only paid about $9,000 for it. I've had it for four and a half years and it only has 54,000 miles on it now. There hasn't been any major mechanical problems with it which is a huge plus! And in four and a half years I have not had to replace a single headlight or breaklight. Although one side of my dashboard light is out, you get used to it. It's a great little car and I plan on driving it until the engine or tranny falls out!"
