What Owners are Saying About the 2000 Chevrolet Prizm
"A very basic but reliable car."
"2001 model with only 62K miles. Besides oil, coolant, and filters, I have hade only spark plugs and fan belt change. +- $200 maintenance in 15+ years."
"Love this car"
"I purchased my Prizm back in 2013 with around 115,000. It currently has 151,000 miles and running strong. I am actually looking at picking up a second Prizm I found for less miles. They are hard to come by. It is a reliable, basic vehicle that handles well. It does consume oil, an issue I've heard with this model, but doesn't deter me from keeping the car around. I just keep a few quarts of oil in the trunk. Minimal upkeep and repairs. One of the best cars I've owned!"
"Very dependable!!"
"I am a college student, who is always up and running. This car is awesome. self containing battery, chain, not a belt! This car also has held its value. You must perform regular oil changes, air filter, fuel filter, brakes and rotors...etc. This car also has a toyota engine and tranny, which is the main reason its value is constant. My dad sold me this car and he is a mechanic that is why i know all these things, and i also worked in a service shop for 4 years."
