- Porsche has unveiled a sleek coupe version of the most powerful car in its history, the Cayenne Electric.
- With up to 1,139 horsepower and zero-to-sixty times as low as 2.4 seconds, it’s one for the record books.
Late last year, Porsche revealed the most powerful vehicle the company had ever offered for sale. The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric delivers up to 1,139 hp, charges from 10% to 80% in just 16 minutes (when hooked up to a properly equipped fast charger), and features a cabin with an available screen for the front passenger.
Now, they’ve made it look better.
The company has unveiled a coupe version of the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric Coupe. It will sit alongside gas-powered and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions of the Cayenne Coupe in showrooms.
The Cayenne Electric Coupe will start at $116,150 (including a mandatory $2,350 destination fee). Prices rise to over $170,000 fully equipped.
Three Coupe Variants, Only One with Insane Statistics
SUV coupes are not true coupes – they have four doors – but they share the sleeker roofline of a coupe model, trading away some cargo space for style. Porsche makes the connection explicit with this one, saying the Cayenne Electric Coupe shares the “flyline” of its iconic 911 coupe.
The company says 40% of Cayennes sold in the U.S. last year were coupe models.
Porsche will offer three variants – a rear-wheel drive (RWD) model with 435 hp, an all-wheel drive (AWD) version with 657, and the stat-packing Cayenne Turbo Coupe with the full 1,139 hp.
Porsche says the coupe version is slightly more efficient than the traditional SUV body style. It has a drag coefficient of just 0.23 to the SUV’s 0.25. That hasn’t translated into faster speeds, as all versions are limited.
It could mean marginally more range, but the company hasn’t released range figures yet.
The company promises a tow rating of up to 7,716 pounds.
Inside, it shares the three-screen setup of other Cayenne models. “The rear seat backrests can be folded forward at the touch of the button from the luggage compartment,” the company says. “The cargo area cover can be stowed beneath the load space floor when not in use, and a front luggage compartment provides even further storage.”
It will reach showrooms at the end of summer.
