Honda Cuts Prologue Prices by $7,500

2024 Honda Prologue
  • Honda has cut the price of its Prologue electric vehicle (EV) by $7,500 across all trim levels.
  • Unconfirmed reports say the Prologue will be discontinued late in the year.

Honda is dropping the price of the Prologue by $7,500 across all trim levels. The price drop might help move the beleaguered electric vehicles (EVs).

Like its cousin, the Acura ZDX, it is widely speculated that Honda intends to discontinue production of the Prologue EV later this year.

This will leave Honda without a fully electric SUV in the U.S. market. Both the ZDX and Prologue were built in conjunction with General Motors.

The Prologue was one of the 10 best-selling EVs in America through the first half of 2025. Honda’s decision to pull back from the EV segment in the U.S. is thought to be related to the discontinuation of federal tax incentives, which subsidized EV prices by $7,500, the same amount as the current discount.

Prologue production has already been cut significantly due to slowed sales, and other Honda EVs previously announced for production have been eliminated, including the 0 Series.

Here is a breakdown of the updated Prologue pricing:

Trim LevelMSRP + Destination Charge ($1,495)
EX$41,395
Touring$46,695
Elite$51,895
