This summer’s celebration of the 250th anniversary of America’s founding is ramping up at car dealers now, starting with Dodge. The 2026 Dodge Durango GT America250 Edition debuted Wednesday at the New York Auto Show with stars and stripes, flag emblems, and red, white, and blue accents. The price for national pride is $3,995, excluding tax, of course.
“Dodge has always stood for American muscle: speed, strength, and the unapologetic pursuit of automotive excitement,” Dodge CEO Matt McAlear said in a statement.
The special edition of the 3-row SUV, dubbed A250, sports dual stripes with a star pattern and blue accents, but only on models with White Knuckle exterior paint. Other exterior color options evoking the Stars and Stripes include Red Oxide, Night Moves (hold the Bob Seger), Destroyer Gray, and Diamond Black. It rolls on 20-inch black wheels and has America250 fender decals.
The interior has black leather seats with blue accents, and the front seats are embossed with an American flag emblem. The steering wheel features red, white, and blue accent stitching, and the seat belts are red. An exclusive leather key tag features America250 and Dodge badging.
The new Durango special edition joins the Ram 1500 America250 in commemorating the nation’s semiquincentennial. The limited editions have the marketing blessing of America250, which is a bipartisan commission established by Congress a decade ago to “orchestrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.”
Dodge knows how to have fun with what it has, from special-edition models like these to the return of the 710-horsepower Durango SRT Hellcat. Last redesigned in 2011, the Durango is one of the oldest models on sale right now, and may even be the oldest.
A250 packages can be added to the Durango GT Plus AWD, Durango GT Hemi Plus AWD, and Durango GT Hemi Premium AWD. The A250 adds $3,995 to each of the three trim offerings.
| Trim | Engine | Price (with $1,995 destination fee) | Price w/A250 Package |
| GT Plus AWD | 295-hp 3.6-liter V6 | $47,590 | $51,585 |
| GT Hemi Plus | 360-hp 5.7-liter V8 | $49,270 | $53,265 |
| GT Hemi Premium | 360-hp 5.7-liter V8 | $52,270 | $56,265 |
The 2026 Durango A250 goes on sale in early April.
