- Cadillac’s potent new CT5-V will start at $48,690
- CT5-V horsepower has been raised to 360
- CT5 Premium Luxury model, with similar engine, starts at $45,190
- All CT5s go on sale during first quarter of 2020
Cadillac has announced pricing for the high-performance variants of its 2020 CT5 sport sedans. The 2020 Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury model, powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 with 335 horsepower, starts at $45,190, while the sportier 2020 Cadillac CT5-V begins at $48,690. All-wheel drive is available on both models for an extra $2,600.
Also notable: Cadillac has slightly increased the power of the CT5-V’s engine. Back in June, Cadillac told KBB that its new 2020 CT5-V would make 355 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Those figures have now been revised favorably to 360 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. While that’s still a far cry from the 556 horsepower of the discontinued CTS-V, the new CT5-V benefits from a 10-speed automatic transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential.
Other 2020 Cadillac CT5 pricing: The base CT5, the Luxury model fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 237 horsepower, starts at $37,890, while a Premium Luxury version equipped with the turbo 2.0-liter begins at $45,190. Rounding out the lineup is the CT5 Sport, which is equipped with the turbo 2.0-liter and has a starting price of $42,690.
Look for all versions of the 2020 Cadillac CT5 to go on sale in the first quarter of 2020. The newer, smaller CT4 follows in the second quarter.
