What Is Amperage?

Amperage describes the number of amperes or amps of current flowing through a conductor. In simple terms, amperage is how much electricity is being delivered. See also Amp, Volt, Voltage, Watt, and Wattage.

Since all electric vehicle batteries don’t input electricity at the same amperage, charging times vary among EVs.
