If you’re shopping the midsize-premium, luxury-sedan market but nothing really stands out, take a ride in the 2019 Volvo S90. Its Swedish-inspired styling makes a bold statement, as do its numerous high-tech luxury and safety features. Hybrid models are impressively powerful and fuel efficient.
For some, luxury means a potent V6 or V8 engine, not a set of turbocharged and supercharged 4-cylinders. If you fall into this category, an Infiniti Q70 or Genesis G70 might be a better choice. The Lexus ES Hybrid has a longer track record and better resale than the S90 Plug-In Hybrid.
