What Owners are Saying About the 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan
"2025 VW Tiguan Tech Issues"
"My wife and I purchased a 2025 VW Tiguan on May 30, 2025. I love the Tiguan's comfort, performance and drive. However. . .On July 14, I brought the vehicle to the VW dealer’s service center for problems with the Infotainment system locking up and wireless charging not working. On July 24, I experienced the CarPlay disconnecting (“not available”) and later that day the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Travel Assist malfunctioned (“not available”). On July 28, I returned the vehicle to the VW dealer’s service center for intermittent problems with the ACC, Cruise Control, and Travel Assist not working (with error messages indicated) and CarPlay (“not available”). I have meticulously documented multiple problems, which I have shared in emails (including photos of error messages) and meetings with the VW dealer’s service and sales managers. Please note that I experienced the same problems with the ACC, Cruise Control, and Travel Assist on two 2025 loaner Tiguans that I documented on our Tiguan. I have also maintained a journal and MFRs of the continuing problems and a records of my email and discussions with VW dealer’s service and sales managers, as well as the VW Customer Care Center. Since July, the VW dealer’s service center has had the vehicle for diagnostics and service four times for 62 days (and counting). After replacing one of the cameras on the Tiguan, the VW service center is now replacing the radar sensor. I’m hopeful but skeptical. If customers are interested in buying a 2025 VW Tiguan, they should perform their due diligence."
"Great Bargain"
"I leased a 2025 Tiguan SE on 08/25/25. So far I am impressed with the ride and the standard equipment. Since this was my first VW since 1970 I got the SE. I have some regrets not getting the top model, just for the extra equipment. So far with 2000 miles it's been trouble free. There is a learning curve on the tech but that's true of any modern vehicle. The ride is smooth. The steering is precise. And the milage. 25 in the city. 30 on the highway. In recent years I have had a Jaguar, 2 Volvo's, 3 Mazda's, and an Audi."
"2025 Tiguan SE"
"Just got it, rides great, good pickup, quiet ride, love the styling, had Toyota RAV 4 but like this better, have a Subaru Outback XT also. Time will tell with reliability."
