If you love the idea of an electric car, but not the long charging times, a 2019 Mirai hydrogen fuel-cell car is the perfect solution. For those lucky enough to live in So Cal, Toyota offers complimentary hydrogen for the first three years, not to exceed $15,000.
The Mirai isn’t all that practical, with a limited market, refueling stations and 300-mile range. The Honda Clarity fuel cell costs about the same, but offers a larger cabin, 5-passenger seating and a higher-quality interior.
