The 2026 Nissan Sentra enters a new generation with a fresh design, updated tech, and more upscale options.
The Nissan Sentra compact sedan enters an all-new generation for the 2026 model year. Although there are no changes under the hood, an aesthetic makeover, updated technology, and the return of the premium SL trim are enough to make the humble Sentra feel truly new. A few highlights of the redesign include a Google built-in infotainment system with a 12.3-inch display, the Nissan ProPilot Assist system, and some upscale options like quilted seating, a head-up display, and a wireless charging pad.
The 2026 Nissan Sentra is fully redesigned, albeit with a carryover powertrain.
The 2026 Nissan Sentra will go on sale in late 2025.
Every 2026 Nissan Sentra is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 149 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. The output is sent to the front wheels through a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
