The 2019 Mercedes-AMG GLC family offers scintillating performance in three flavors that range from spicy to four-alarm. Adept handling, menacing good looks and ridiculously wide tires are the hallmarks of these vehicles, yet the large interior and rear hatch also provide some measure of utility.
If you’re drawn to the GLC Coupe’s sloping rear quarters and are not dead set on having it attached to an SUV, a Kia Stinger, an Audi A5 Sportback or even a BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe might be a nice fit. In the SUV field, you can still find sporty options such as the Lexus RX, Audi Q5 and Jaguar F-Pace.
