"The Hybrid part is good; The Kia part is terrible"
"We’ve owned our Sportage HEV for 2 years. In that two years, we’ve had the car at the dealership several times for things that fall under warranty….but what fun is it to have the following replaced on a garage-kept, hand washed, meticulously maintained car: door handle replacement, headlight replacement, rear hatch lock replacement. Now that the car has 30K miles, it’s time for another headlight replacement, another door handle replacement and the turbo is malfunctioning. The dealership assures us that everything is fine but I will not be purchasing another Kia. We love the hybrid feature. We do not enjoy the lackluster sound system and terrible build quality. Eight trips to the shop to have things fixed in the first 2 years isn’t my idea of a good vehicle."

"First off I'm a 72 year old male and have owned and driven just about everything. I wanted to review this Kia Hybrid for several reasons My friends can't believe I went for a hybrid but just look at the difference. The horsepower and torque are much more over a standard engine plus I can get 40 MPG here in the mountains of WV. Never have I saw this much savings with so much power. Don't believe me just try one and you will see. It's a spaceship on wheels. I have the EX version there are more models available in the more expensive range if you want them, like 🌙 roofs ground thumper sound systems,off road packages, heated and cooled seats, yada yada yada I don't need all that. This car is sporty, comfortable,eye pleasing, technology infused and safe easy driving vehicle I have ever had outside of my 1970 AMX. KIA will surpass Toyota soon I know this"

"Great advanced technology creates a safe reliable ride. This SX model has more safety features than my 2020 E class Benz at half the price. The handling on city roads is tight and comfortable. On the Highway it performs very well, with responding to pass other vehicles and maintains a steady cruise speed without searching gears constantly like other SUV’s I have owned."
