Although Isuzu once offered distinct models such as the Isuzu Trooper, Isuzu VehiCross and Isuzu Rodeo, this car company learned a tough lesson about selling rebadged vehicles, eventually lost its identity and withdrew from the North American market in 2008. At that time, the lineup consisted of two rebadged Chevrolet vehicles: the Chevrolet Trailblazer-based Isuzu Ascender and the Isuzu i-290 and i-370 trucks, which were slightly altered versions of the Chevrolet Colorado pickup.
