very reliable car

I have owned this car for 15 years and amazed at the reliability. I have put very little money into this car and it just keeps going and going like the energizer bunny! Never has stranded me, never has needed any big repairs other than normal wear and tear like a clutch, timing belt, etc. Would highly recommend this car!

A lot of bang for your buck
Pros

Reliable, cheap to insure, easy to drive

Cons

Hard to change oil and headlights

This is my 2nd Hyundai Elantra and its has been very reliable. I have had this Car since I was in high school and i am now 26 still driving it with no problem. The car has started in negative degree temps and on triple digit heat with out breaking a sweat. I wish the break pads were just little bit larger but thats just a very minor complaint I had. The insurance on it is also dirt cheap. The only legitimate complaint I have with this car is that changing the oil and head lights on it is a nightmare however a lot of manufactures do that. If your looking for something affordable and reliable then look no further. Its going to be a very sad day when I have to let my elantra go thou :(

best car I have ever owned
Pros

Reliable, economic, comfortable and affordable.

Cons

Door handles

This was my first brand new car, I have not had any problems out of the car until about a year ago when a 02 sensor went out, it didnt cause any problems, I kept up with oil change and other regular maintenance on it. If I had anything semi negative to say would be the door handles arent very durable, I have replace all of them due to kids breaking them. The car now has 190,000 miles on it 14 years later and the engine still purrs like a kitten. I love this car and will only buy Hyundai cars for now on.
