What Owners are Saying About the 2001 Daewoo Lanos

"Totally Reliable"

"I had this car for nine years and never regretted it. I maintained it with oil changes, new brakes, and a few sets of tires, and it was well worth its cost. I drove it to Chicago from the suburbs 5 days a week, and rarely had any issues with it. Even in the snow, this mighty little car got me to where I needed to go. I didn't even change the battery until about three months ago!"

"good starter"

"This was my first car that I bought. It is a good car for starter drivers. The looks at first aren't so good, but after I bought it I love how it looks! Great gas mileage. Which is a must this day and age. Good if your only driving with yourself or with one passenger. The back seat is tiny, but I can fit and i'm 6'2". I totally recomend for beginers. If you got in an accident would you rather it be this car or some expensive car?? I'd say this car."

"Can't put it down"

"I paid $7900 for this car brand new in 2002, that's less than most motorcycles were going for at the time. It has been a very good little car for me and it hasn't been babied. I drove this car for two years as a food delivery vehicle, driving up to 200 miles a day in all sorts of conditions. As long as you keep up the maintainence it will take a lickin and keep on tickin. I have been driving it for six years now and I can still hit 36 MPG running with the A/C on, it will run true down the highway at 80 MPH without any strain on the engine. It's not all wine and roses however, as I get older I wish it were more comfortable, cruise control would be a huge plus but overall for what I paid for this car it has been an awesome vehicle. I fully intend to drive this car until it dies and if past performance is any indication that will be a long ways off."
