"I've had my 02 Daewoo Lanos hatch since new, so going on 10 years now. i just hit 100,000 miles. THis has been a wonderful car. Gets great mileage as long as you keep your foot out of the pedal. As soon as you womp on it it does go down though. I changed the oil every 3000 miles, replaced a thermostat, and did brakes and tires and thats all i've done to the car in 100,000 miles. If you take care of these things they just keep driving. No problems with parts either. THe car shares drivetrain parts with the chevy aveo suzuki forenza, and the suzuki reno. never had problems of any kind with parts. WOuld buy again. great car."
"I bought this car brand new as a left over in Jan 2003. Almost 5 years and 87000 miles later I don't regret it for a second. I have never had a single problem with this car. Front brakes lasted 62K miles, still haven't changed the rears. Timing belt at 60K miles (required). Other than that put gas in it and change the oil. Pretty comfortable, even in the back. Mid to upper 30's gas mileage and decent performance with a couple of cheap mods. I'm planning on keeping it for a while longer with gas prices as they are."
