The turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder base engine in the 2023 Honda Accord is technically carried over from the previous generation, but with enhancements that improve responsiveness and reduce engine noise. A hybrid option is available, which nets up to 48 combined mpg compared to the base engine’s 32 combined mpg.
A 7-inch infotainment display is standard on lower trims, while upper trims get a 12.3-inch display. When the 2023 Accord came out, this was the biggest screen that Honda has ever put in a car. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard across the board. Also standard in every 2023 Honda Accord is Honda Sensing, a safety tech suite that includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams.
