Introduction
The Acura TLX is a premium midsize sedan from Honda’s luxury division. Designed and developed to bring an enjoyable driving experience at a competitive price, the TLX is an appealing value compared to more expensive German sport sedans. The 2023 Acura TLX stands its ground in a competitive class of midsize luxury cars with strong engines, plenty of standard equipment for the price, good build quality, and a comprehensive array of standard safety features. Size-wise, the TLX is in line with the midsize class, with dimensions similar to those of the Cadillac CT5 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. However, some rivals have more rear legroom and bigger trunks.
The previous-generation TLX left buyers hungry for power, a more engaging drive, and greater efficiency. The 2023 TLX meets those demands. For the enthusiast, the TLX Type S packs a 355-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. Drivers prioritizing efficiency will be happy with the 272-hp 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine propelling the other TLX variants. Acura also engineered the 2023 TLX to provide responsive handling. A popular configuration is the A-Spec with all-wheel drive.
