What Owners are Saying About the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica
"A nice quiet van."
"This is my eighth Chrysler minivan. All of them have gone well over 100,000 miles with no problems with engine or transmission. My 2002 went 275 miles with no problems and was retired when the rust took over. This Pacifica is very quiet and a pleasure to drive. The gas mileage is a bit less than the 2014 Town and Country it replaced. I have three complaints on this van. The driver's headrest pushes my head too far foreword. I use a cushion behind my back so that I can sit with my head up straight. The dash came loaded with shiny surfaces that had to be covered with glare free material and flat black paint. This has been a problem with these vans since 2006. The vision at corners to the passengers side is limited. A lot of care must be used at corners to make sure that there are no vehicles coming from the right. This touring L Pluss has many features that make driving safer."
"Drives nicer than any vehicle I've ever driven"
"Bought this with the intention to buy a Toyota Sienna. After test driving both, really no comparison. Pacifica drove and rode much nicer. Controls more user friendly. Took on a 3500 mile trip and my back did not hurt once, also 32mpg on that trip. Lots of room and the kids love the entertainment system. So far at 3 years and almost 70000 miles no issues to mention. I'll try to review again in another 3 years. If your thinking Honda or Toyota, you owe it to yourself to compare Chrysler. Love to drive our Pacifica!"
"Head Gasket Issues - DO NOT BUY!"
"2018 Pacifica with only 81,000 miles, well maintained with regular oil changes. Both head gaskets failure. Cost at dealer to diagnose and replace head gaskets - $4400. They know about the issue as they use a different head gasket for the repair but the consumer gets no relief on repair cost. Asked to have new timing set and new waterpump replaced at same time. Cost another $700 in parts! Timing parts quote was for the plastic timing components only, so around $300 for plastic slides and glides and tensioners. The labor required to replace the waterpump alone is crazy....you must remove the timing chain cover and front motor mount...extensive work to replace a waterpump, $1200 or more job . The "Autostop" feature on this car places additional wear and tear on the starter and the cost to replace the starter is VERY high also. The car has 2 batteries, one big for the car (normal) and one small (Autostop battery). The main battery was $207, the Auxilliary battery for the Auto stop system was $154. These vans are a money pit and should be avoided at all costs! Buy the Honda or Toyota."
