If you need a full-size SUV that is big on power, interior space and creature comforts, the stylish Chevrolet Suburban is an easy choice. A powerful V8, new RST Performance Package and an 8,300-pound max tow rating make the choice all the easier, as do loads of high-tech options.
The Suburban’s weak fuel economy and steep price may leave some feeling turned off. If you just need room for seven or eight passengers and are not worried about towing, consider a less expensive Chevy Traverse, Honda Pilot or all-wheel-drive Subaru Ascent. For maximum towing, look to the Ford Expedition Max.
