Volkswagen has recalled 171,381 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport SUVs from model years 2024 and 2025 because their rearview camera images may be distorted.
The company tells the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), “A software error may cause the rearview camera image to become distorted when the vehicle is in reverse.”
Dealers will update the software to fix the problem.
