Bentley EXP 9 F Concept You’ve gotta be kidding? No. This is no joke. Though dimensions weren’t furnished, Bentley’s SUV concept dwarfed everything around it, and provoked a lot of disapproving tsk-tsks from the automotive press. But there’s little doubt this behemoth will see production. The show property was equipped with a 6.0-liter supercharged W12 capable of 600 horsepower, but Bentley could also offer a 4.0-liter turbo V8 or a hybrid powertrain, though the latter seems ridiculous. When Bentley won the LeMans 24-hour race in 1929 and 1930, pundits referred to the cars as "tuned lorries" (British for trucks). The EXP 9 F fits right in with that tradition. |
