Nissan has recalled 4,655 Rogue SUVs from the 2026 model year that are equipped with incorrectly sized spare tires. Only 2026 Rogue models are affected.
The company tells the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that “Certain affected 2026 Rogue vehicles may have been equipped with a spare tire that does not match the tire size specified on the vehicle’s placard.” If the spare tire is inflated to an incorrect pressure, it can increase the risk of a crash.
Nissan dealers will fix this issue by inspecting and replacing any spare tire with the correct size free of charge. It’s estimated to take less than half an hour to complete.
Owners of potentially affected vehicles will be notified starting Feb. 13, 2026.
