Mitsubishi will unveil two slightly sinister design studies next month in Geneva one based on the European ASX compact crossover – sold here as the Outlander Sport – and the other on its L200 pickup, which is not sold here at all. Save for noting the pair is aimed at “urban adventurers,” all the automaker has confirmed at this point is that they’re both finished in a unique mid-gray set off with bright orange accents and black alloy wheels.

Judging from the teaser pic, the ASX Concept appears to share many of the same bolder cosmetic enhancements introduced on our 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport that debuted in Los Angeles last fall. It remains to be seen if any other elements found on this new one-off crossover also will turn up on its American cousin.
