Jeep is recalling over 200,000 vehicles due to a potential fault with their tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Vehicles are required to come equipped with such a system that detects when one or more of its tires is underinflated. When this happens, a warning light is illuminated.
In some Jeep models, the vehicle may not accurately detect low tire pressure, or the warning light may not go on. This is due to an issue with the software. The following Jeep vehicles are being recalled, with 201,976 affected in all:
- 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer
- 2024-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee
- 2024-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee L
- 2024-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee PHEV
- 2024-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer
- 2025-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L
- 2025-2025 Jeep Wagoneer L
- 2026-2026 Jeep Cherokee
- 2026-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L PHEV
