Hyundai has issued a recall for 143,472 Santa Fe and Santa Fe Hybrid SUVs from model years 2024-2025 because their rearview cameras may not function properly.
The company tells federal safety authorities that some rearview cameras “might have been improperly installed during assembly, potentially resulting in a damaged wire harness.”
Dealers will replace the rearview cameras using a model with a new wiring harness to correct the problem.
By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.
Manufacturers recall many cars, often more than once, during their lifespan. Automakers try to contact every owner but don’t always reach them all. Discover if your vehicle has any outstanding recalls with the easy-to-use vehicle identification number (VIN) tool at our recall center.
