Ford Bronco Filson Edition Coming in 2027

• Ford and Filson are teaming up on a co-branded Bronco set to hit dealers in 2027.
• The Bronco Filson Edition will infuse the off-roader with the American outdoor brand’s heritage for quality craftsmanship.

The Eddie Bauer Explorer. The Harley-Davidson F-150. The 7-Up Mustang. Ford has a long history of collaborating with brands outside the automotive world on special-edition cars, trucks, SUVs, and even minivans. The next Ford model to get a co-branded treatment is the iconic Bronco. A new Ford Bronco Filson model will bring Filson’s persona as an upscale outdoor lifestyle brand to the rugged and capable Bronco. It’ll be available in early 2027, presumably for the 2027 model year.

Details are light on the Filson Bronco as we await a full reveal. That reveal will take place on Ford’s YouTube channel on June 3 at 9 p.m. Eastern time. If previous co-branded Ford models are any indication of what to expect, we look forward to a more luxurious treatment of the Bronco and plenty of “Filson” branding inside and out. The Bronco is already a pretty outdoorsy vehicle, so this will likely be little more than a branding exercise, and we don’t expect any mechanical off-road enhancements unique to this new trim. Bronco and Filson previously collaborated on a Bronco Firecrew concept, but we don’t expect this production model to come with a firehose.

One of the few details unveiled so far is the co-branded “Bronco-Filson” spare tire cover that will adorn the back. Another detail that’s been confirmed is that the Bronco Filson will, unsurprisingly, only be available in 4-door form. When this generation of the Bronco launched in 2021, every trim was available with two or four doors, but Ford has been paring back its 2-door options in recent years. For the 2026 model year, you can only get a 2-door Bronco in the Base and Badlands trims.

Pricing for the Ford Bronco Filson is forthcoming and hard to predict, given how little is known about the vehicle. That said, Filson is a premium brand, so it’s reasonable to expect a premium price tag. In the 2026 Bronco lineup, there’s a lot of room between the Heritage Edition starting at $53,620 and the Stroppe Edition beginning at $71,990, so we expect the Filson model’s price to fall somewhere in between.
