Audi recalled 62 vehicles because their front seat belts may not function in the event of an accident.
Recalled vehicles include just a few models of the:
- 2025 Audi RS Q8
- 2025 Audi Q8
- 2025 Audi Q7
- 2025 Audi SQ8
The company tells federal safety officials, “A rivet that secures the safety belt buckle to the driver’s or front passenger’s safety belt stalk may be missing.” That could cause the belts to detach in a crash.
Dealers will replace both front seat belts to fix the problem.
By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.
Manufacturers recall many cars, often more than once, during their lifespan. Automakers try to contact every owner but don’t always reach them all. Discover if your vehicle has any outstanding recalls with the easy-to-use vehicle identification number (VIN) tool at our recall center.
