- The Toyota Corolla will see a minor update for the 2027 model year, with some improved cabin technology and the option of retro-inspired white wheels.
It’s not hard to understand the appeal of the Toyota Corolla. It’s the best-selling car in history. A legacy of reliability and strong resale values, pleasant driving manners, a reasonable price, and a few trim levels that meet the desires of most shoppers make it an easy answer for a large swath of drivers.
There’s a hybrid version and, for those who want the utility, a hatchback. For the 2027 model year, the latter won’t get any radical changes. But the 2027 Corolla Hatchback sees an update to its cabin technology and a cool retro wheel option now available on any trim level.

Shoppers will now find a 7-inch digital gauge cluster on base SE trims that replaces the prior 4.2-inch setup, along with a standard 8-inch central touchscreen. SE buyers can now also choose an optional SE Premium Package that replaces them with larger versions – 12.3 inches for the driver and 10.5 inches in the center.
The larger screens are standard on the higher-end XSE model.
All trims can now be optioned with gloss white wheels. They made their first appearance on a special edition for 2026 – the ’80s-inspired Corolla FX. Toyota liked the look enough to make it available on any 2027 Corolla Hatchback. The FX, however, will not return for the new year.
Prices only rise by $300. Toyota will now ask $26,075 (including a $1,295 delivery fee) for the base model, and $29,170 for the XSE.
The 2027 Toyota Corolla Hatchback is on sale now.
