2027 Dodge Charger Lineup Revealed, Daytona EV Gets Major Price Increase

Dodge has released details for the 2027 lineup. There aren’t many major updates, but one fact stands out above the rest: the Daytona electric models are getting a big-time price increase.

Dodge claims the Daytona Scat Pack trim as the brand’s “quickest and most powerful AWD Charger.” It delivers up to 670 horsepower with PowerShot engaged and has a zero-to-60 time of 3.3 seconds. The regular Scat Pack trim below it produces 550 hp and reaches zero-to-60 mph in 3.9 seconds using a twin-turbo 6-cylinder gas engine dubbed Hurricane.

The Daytona is also the only all-electric Charger variant. For 2026, the price difference between the Daytona and the base, combustion-powered R/T trim was about $10,000. Now, however, that margin has grown exponentially.

Daytona Price Rises $12,500 Despite Few Changes

With the $1,995 destination fee, the 2-door Daytona Scat Pack has a starting price of $74,490 for 2027, up from $61,990 in 2026. The 4-door model is an additional $500, starting at $74,990. What makes this news even more interesting is that this model doesn’t see many updates.

The most significant upgrade is that the Daytona is the first Stellantis model to feature a NACS charging port. This means it can now charge at Tesla Supercharger stations without an adapter.

There are other upgrades this model can have, such as Petrol Blue leather seats exclusive to the Scat Pack trims. Outside of add-ons available to the whole lineup, there’s not much else new for the Daytona Scat Pack.

If you’ve been looking at this model, it’s important to determine whether these changes justify the price increase.

Other Updates to the Lineup

As for the rest of the lineup, new interior and exterior design options are available. For the R/T and Scat Pack trims, the price remains exactly the same as the 2026 models. Similarly, performance specifications remain largely unchanged across all models, including the Daytona. Additional updates to the 2027 lineup include:

  • 25 new customization options
  • Petrol Blue seats for Scat Pack models
  • Demonic red seat belts across the entire lineup
  • Satin black painted hood for SIXPACK models
  • Orange and black brake calipers with Brembo package
  • Mopar graphics: blade, strobe, and dual stripes

Orders are now open for the 2027 Dodge Charger lineup. Dealerships will receive stock of these vehicles starting in Q3 2026. Below are prices for the entire lineup, including a $1,995 destination fee.
