Responding to consumer demand that saw last-year’s run get sold out in just four days, the 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T "Shaker" models are back with a more potent 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker that cranks out 485 horsepower. "Our hardcore Challenger customers demanded we bring back the Shaker plus offer more power and more performance," said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge and SRT Brands. The new 6.4-liter "King of the Shakers" Scat Pack will be joined by the returning 5.7-liter/375-horse Challenger R/T Shaker and R/T Shaker Plus models. Kuniskis also notes that beyond the added 113 ponies in the top-gun version, the 2015 Shaker models add more track-proven hardware and technology. As has been the case for 45 years since the first Shaker was introduced in 1970, all of these new 2015 Challengers carry the designation because of a unique hood scoop that shakes with the engine movement. This cold-air intake with conical air filter helps boost performance.
Three ways to get your Shake on
Anchoring this power trio, the Challenger R/T Shaker kit complements its 375-horse Hemi with hood-to-tail satin black graphic stripes and hood badges, black decklid spoiler with Parkview backup camera, projector fog lamps, 20-inch polished aluminum satin-finish wheels with black accents and a satin black heritage-look fuel-filler door. Inside, premium black cloth performance seats with Ballistic 2 inserts and Tungsten accent stitching are complemented by a "Shaker" startup screen display. The R/T Shaker also comes with the Super Trak pack that brings an upgraded and lowered suspension with Bilstein shocks, tri-mode stability control with full-off setting, and Goodyear 3-season Eagle F1 performance tires that can be mounted on optional 20×9-inch matte-black lightweight forged aluminum wheels. Buyers also can swap theTremec 6-speed manual transmission for an 8-speed, paddle-shift TorqueFlite automatic, a choice that trims the pony count by three and drops peak torque from 410 to 400 lb-ft.

Hemi Scat Pack Shaker rules
Prime mover in this group is the aforementioned 2015 Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker with the 485-horse/6.4-liter engine that cranks out 475 lb-ft of torque. In addition to various Scat Pack badges, the 392 Hemi Shaker also brings a 180-mph speedometer, 220-amp alternator and a stainless steel performance dual exhaust system along with a Brembo four-piston high-performance brake package and 20×9-inch polished aluminum wheels.
