What Owners are Saying About the 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander
"Love my Mitsubishi"
"I've owned my 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander for almost 4 years. I bought it used, with less than 100,000 miles on it. It has had some issues..recalls that got fixed, but it has just kept right on going. Looking to upgrade soon, but we are keeping my 2007. I've set my sights already on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlanders because I'm obviously going to be a Mitsubishi gal."
"Great SUV!"
"I recently purchased a 2012 Outlander Sport which I have had for a month. I am extremely pleased with the car. Pros: Great styling, roomy interior, a lot of nice touches (e.g., kleenex holder in center console), clean, uncluttered interior, comfortable seats, great Rockford sound system, great visibility, nice ride and, most important, great warranty. Cons: For me, there really are no cons. Many reviews note the fact the engine could use a few more horses under the hood and view it as underpowered, I have not found that to be the case. Where I think the issue arises is with the CVT and the fact, that to achieve the best mileage, the CVT will lag a bit when upshifting. Rather than tromp the gas which only creates further lag, I've found two solutions: (1) when it starts to lag, back off the accelerator for a couple second then apply even pressure and it will pick up seemlessly or (2) use the paddle shifters which are great. If you're in the market for a great SUV, I really recommend taking a look at the Outlander Sport."
"I'ts been amazing!"
"180,000 miles. The only thing I've ever had to replace under the hood has been a starter. And that was just recently. The Mitsubishi V6 engine and 6 speed transmission, has been the best combo I've ever owned. Smooth shifts, plenty of power and 24mpg on the highway. Not stellar numbers, but good for a heavy vehicle with a 3.0 engine. I drive to Chicago several times a year (800 miles). The suspension has always been a little rough on bad roads, however. I will say the original Mitsubishi radio was horrible. I upgraded mine with an after market unit."
