2025 Buick Enclave
2025 Buick Enclave Review

Updated August 28, 2026
The all-new 2025 Buick Enclave is a midsize 3-row SUV that leans a bit softer and more luxurious than the usual mainstream crowd. Pricing starts at $46,595.
The Enclave is the largest SUV made by Buick and it’s the marque’s flagship vehicle. From a poshness point of view, it slots between the Chevrolet Traverse (which was all-new for 2024) and the Cadillac XT6, while size-wise it’s just as accommodating.
What's New for 2025
This model year sees a new generation of Buick Enclave, sporting an exterior design that harmonizes with the rest of the Buick lineup, along with a roomy and well-equipped interior.
2025 Buick Enclave Pricing
The 2025 Buick Enclave has a starting sticker price of $46,595, with the range-topping Enclave Avenir kicking off at $59,695. But Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Pricing currently suggests paying $4,595 to $5,895 less than MSRP, depending on trim and equipment. These prices are updated weekly.
MSRP | KBB Fair Purchase Price (national avg.) | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|
$46,595 | $42,000 | |||
$49,095 | $44,200 | |||
$59,695 | $53,800 |
The Enclave’s starting price is on the higher side of the 3-row midsize SUV class, in line with those of the Toyota Grand Highlander and Jeep Grand Cherokee L, for instance. We’d be inclined to stay with the entry-level Preferred trim, which comes with plenty of standard equipment. We don’t see the point in spending another couple of grand or so just for things like a flat-bottomed steering wheel and the cosmetic elements of the next-up Sport Touring trim. We’d rather spend the extra on all-wheel drive.
Before buying a new Enclave premium midsize 3-row SUV, check the Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price to know what you should be paying. Resale values of the previous-generation Enclave are a bit below average and we’re not anticipating much difference here. Remember, recouping more money when selling a vehicle can mean a bigger down payment and lower monthly payments on the next one.
Power, Ride, and Handling
The 2025 Enclave employs a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine making 328 horsepower, replacing a 310-horsepower V6. We’ve encountered this engine in the Enclave’s cousins, the Chevrolet Traverse and the GMC Acadia. While we like the extra muscle, which is a welcome trait in a 3-row midsize SUV, we have been much less impressed by how coarse it sounds when revved hard. This may be academic, though, since Buick makes its QuietTuning noise-reducing technology standard across the board. In addition, with Buick focusing on a smooth ride quality rather than any overt sportiness, buyers attracted to a new Enclave are quite likely to adopt a less frenetic, more relaxed approach to driving.
Fuel Economy
In the new GMC Acadia, the same 4-cylinder engine achieves 23 mpg in combined city/highway driving (front-wheel drive). Subtract a couple of miles per gallon with all-wheel drive. We anticipate the Enclave managing something similar, which would be perfectly acceptable for the class.
Roomy, Not Boomy Interior
Thanks to General Motors using the Traverse as the basis for the new Buick Enclave, buyers are able to enjoy a particularly spacious cabin with plenty of room in all three seating rows, plus a decent area for luggage. Heated front seats are fitted to the entry-level Preferred trim. It’s also quite hushed in here, as Buick’s QuietTuning noise-reducing measures are standard.
Distinct Exterior
Even though the new Enclave shares a foundation with the Chevrolet Traverse, it still has its own distinct (and dare we say sleek?) look. Buick’s current design philosophy, across its entire portfolio, is based on its Wildcat EV concept, with thin headlights and a forward-slanting grille. That Traverse connection also means the Enclave is one of the bigger SUVs in its class.
Our Favorite Features and Tech
Infotainment tech
The new Enclave comes with a large 30-inch display unit as standard. It holds a digital instrument cluster and an infotainment touchscreen. The system includes Google Assistant.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Cable-free phone integration helps keep things tidy in the cabin. We’re happy to see this as standard equipment. Wireless charging is also included.
Powered tailgate
This is standard across the new Enclave lineup. It’s one of those features that’s used quite often yet always feels premium.
Super Cruise
The new Enclave is the first Buick to offer GM’s excellent, hands-free driving system. Super Cruise is available across all trims.
Enhanced Automatic Park Assist
When we have a 3-row SUV full of people and stuff, we’re always grateful for some help when parking. This self-parking feature is part of the Super Cruise package.
Rear camera mirror
We’re seeing this idea becoming more widespread in new vehicles, which can only be a good thing. It shows a clear view without the hindrances of rear pillars, cargo, or passengers’ heads. Also part of the Super Cruise package.
Engine & Transmission
The only method of propulsion in the new Enclave SUV is a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine making a respectable 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. This goes through an 8-speed transmission to either the front wheels in standard form, or an optional all-wheel-drive system.
Maximum towing ability is 5,000 pounds — most midsize SUVs are capable of this.
3-Year/36,000-Mile Warranty
Buick’s new-vehicle warranty lasts three years or 36,000 miles, whichever happens first. Powertrains are covered for five years or 60,000 miles, which includes roadside assistance. These terms are all quite typical. The first scheduled maintenance visit is also free.
Safety
A comprehensive array of standard safety features in the 2025 Enclave SUV includes active blind-spot assistance, and automatic emergency braking at intersections.
