We've always liked the Aston Martin V12 Vantage, but the clunky 7-speed automatic it came with stifled our enjoyment. So thank goodness at least a handful of 2017 Aston Martin V12 Vantage models get a 7-speed manual. Other updates include a new infotainment system that incorporates Apple CarPlay, and simplifying the V8 Vantage into a single Vantage GTS model.
New Features and Revisions
The new AMi III infotainment system that includes Apple CarPlay is standard across the board. There's also a new 7-speed manual transmission available for the V12 Vantage that includes a "dog-leg" first gear, and the entire V8 Vantage lineup is consolidated into a single GTS model available in two trims.
