Cons: "Drives a little loose compared to newer trucks"

"I bought this truck new in 2000 and it has been amazingly trouble free. I now have 156000 miles of off road, hard work, snow driving, and heavy towing. The only problems have been a front wheel bearing at 120K, a water pump at 150K, and the electric door lock actuators at 50K (Ford should have warranted these but hey didn't). I expect this truck to last 300K plus."
"I love my truck, and there is 1 thing in particular that stands out...it has 290,000 miles on it and it has never been in the shop for anything. I've replaced tires, batteries, gone though plenty of oil changes, brakes, and all the typical wear and maitnenance stuff, but 290,000 miles without a single failure has to be some kind of record. I have the gas V10, and auto trans, and the mileage isnt great, but I bought his truck new and havent had a car payment in 8 years, so I dont mind the extra gas expense. It has tons of room, so its great for road trips. The truck is super reliable always starts the first time, never overheats or any cold start issues. Power is good even after all these miles. heck, she doesnt even burn or leak oil...not a drop!"
