"I bought this car brand new in Phoenix. They refilled the Freon because it was low (Quote) and that is when my troubles began. After many refills(locally in Sierra Vista) and the car never having AC. Finally replaced the bad compressor. Should have been covered under warranty but of course it wasn't. That is my only compliant. Bought with a bad compressor and never got decent service.
The Car is excellent, I love to drive it."
"I made it a habit in my life to never buy a used anything all you are doing is buying someone else's problems. Well something about this car changed my mind .When I took it to my mechanic at Ford he asked me when did I put a new engine in it? I told him I didn't! He told me if I didn't buy this car he would. I'm very happy I did because you really don't find used cars in the condition I have found this one in . I consider myself VERY LUCKY.... :)"
"I have put 180,000 miles on my 2004 since buying it new. I replaced 3 sets of brakes and tires, two batteries, one water pump, and one alternator. Regular oil changes every 5,000 miles. The original clutch gave out at 180,000, and it now has a new clutch set.
This is the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned!"
"Ive owned this car for 15 years and it has been a stalwart addition to my cars and trucks.if you want some real power for your money try it. they dont make them like this anymore. my brother in law, a seasoned race car driver was shocked when i took him out.his thoughts, "insane""
"I ordered my 1999 35th Anniversary Mustang GT from the Ford dealer because I wanted one with automatic trans and 16" wheels, everything available had 18" wheels. I've owned various Mustangs through the years, and this one has been the best yet. Sixteen years and many miles later "the old gray mule" still turns heads. She's never left me stranded, and all mechanical repairs performed were preventive due to mileage. The stainless steel exhaust system has never required servicing. It's a fun driving car, and the premium stereo rocks. Interior noise is a little loud, but hey - it's a sports car. A/C still works great, I added the first/only can of freon 2 years ago. I'm 50+ years old, and this has been the most reliable car I've owned."
"I bought a 2003, sonic blue, Mustang GT for my birthday. This has been, hands down the best purchase I have ever made. From day one, this car has proven itself as, in my opinion, the superior driving machine. It's 12 years old but can still do a mega burnout and leave black marks on the road. It can come screaming out in 3rd gear. But, you can still set the cruise control and drive comfortably, in style with the A/C blowing cold. Even with a V8, I'm getting 25 MPG. Everything about this car feels luxurious. My only complaint is that the cup holders are in an awkward position... You'll have cups in your arm while you're shifting.
This has been such a fun, reliable car that I wouldn't sell it or trade it for all the money in the world. It turns heads, sounds great, looks great and will prove itself as a true American muscle car.
I've literally had ZERO problems with this car, even with it's mileage. The clutch and transmission are still tight, the car just hugs and glides on the road. It purrs, but growls when you want it to. I absolutely love this car and if you had one, you'd love it too."
