"2003 Crown Vic., 210,000 miles, 1 owner, police car chassis with 6 qt oil pan. Has Michelin Tires and was used as Realtor's Car, so car has been maintained since it was new. All windows and seat functions work. Great car for young or new driver OR second car."
"Little bit of a reach for the A/C and stereo on the dash, though I have some control on the steering wheel. And no dead pedal. Yep, those are really my only gripes. Otherwise it would have been 10's across the board. Dark Toreador over Charcoal leather LX Sport, 2004 model. I have driven many a Crown Vic and Grand Marquis and have always liked them. Had an opportunity to get one a few years ago and glad I did. Yes, there is a cult-like following among the Panther platform owners and now I know why. SAFE; Solid on the road; Very comfortable for a big pig car; Reliable; Surprisingly good gas mileage (if you can keep you foot out of it); Powerful and agile beyond what you might think. And trunk space is, of course, legendary. Lots of surface area to detail but they sure can look going down the road. Shouldn't have waited so long to get one ... Will be sorry to see it go."
Pros: "Sport model, fast and handels well. Reliable."
Cons: "The hood should not have neded repainted."

"Bought this almost new. Was a dealer demo. LX Sport. Not the best fuel efficiency, but, better than expected from a full sized, full frame vehicle. Engine has run flawlessly. I have followed the scheduled manintance carefully. I have had absolutely no engine problems. No transmission problems. No drive train problems.
Inside, the heat and ac work well. The drivers side door lock sometimes takes two pushes of the button to unlock. This is intermittent and therefor I have not seen the need to have it repaired. No other problems inside.
The paint on the hood started to flake at seven years of age. Had the hood repainted.
Now, at eleven years, it is starting to develop some small exhaust leaks.
Overall, very reliable and comfortable transportation. I have four people in my car pool (occasionally five). All like the ride."
"They arent fancy but neither am I. I have driven them at work and loved them. Bought a retired state police car. Its an 04 so the silver paint is peeling of course. Runs great. Comfortable. Wish they had better molded seats for comfort. Replaced the plugs when I got it and have had no mechanical issues yet. 130k so I am expecting some soon. Oh the headlights disturbingly will cut off at random then come back on in a few minutes. Not good on a dark back road. Coincidentally Ford sent me a letter warning me about the headlight issue and will fix it for free! Nice. I like big cars, especially with gas prices low. It actually does not do bad on gas. I drove it on a 7 hour trip on three quarters of a tank."
"I bought my 2001 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor back in 2007 with 98,000 miles on it and I am still driving it to THIS day and it now has almost 275,000 miles on it! I drive this car hard every day and she just takes a beating and still runs great! I did have to rebuild the transmission around 203,000 miles, but STILL, not bad for as hard as I drive this thing everyday though. This has now become my project car and I have started rebuilding everything from the ground up! It's sad to know that they stopped making the Crown Victoria's in 2012.... I love this car and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a strong reliable four door beast!"
Cons: "With smaller being the fad this car feels big"

"This car is so comfortable due to the seating selected for a police cruiser. This car is very roomy inside and trunk space is enormous. The car feels very strong and sturdy. My car has 145,000 and I believe I can get another 145,000. The car handles superbly and I feel very comfortable with the traction settings in this car. It handles rain and snow very well. Hope the next generation of cop cars only gets better"
