Positive Review
Bought this vehicle about a year ago, and have loved it from day one! Handles solidly on the road, great stereo, everything works 100 percent - and it's nearly 20 years old! Make sure you buy the Saab before Chevrolet took it over in 1993, though! My husband is a mechanic, and he loves this car, too!

No issues so far. I have the base model with V-6.
Sometimes rough riding, but it's a pick up
Bought in November 2017. I've replaced the battery, tires, filters, etc. The original tires were poor quality and one had to be pumped up every 3 days. Dealer said no problems. I got the base model with the V-6 engine. I thought the simpler the better.

love, love, love
Durability, reliablity, drive and comfort.
Parts- locating and price & back seat is small.
Love the car, had it a few years...have only had to replace the original C.V. joints, alternator, and starter. Soon I am going to replace the convertible top, it still has the original. The only downside about this car is the difficulty in finding parts and when you do, sometimes, they can be pricey. Great on gas though, considering it is a turbo. Can be a really fun car if taken care of properly. Could use a bigger back seat.
good for the money, fun, reliable transportation
age is becoming an issue, some parts NLA
I've owned my convertible for 5 years and must say this is a great car. The drive ability is excellent with the manual transmission and I've never felt out of control on the road. Maintenance is pretty simple but can be involved, knowing where to source parts helps keep costs down. This body style existed for basically 20 years so it's worth has been proven...and a few years ago a 900 went 1,000,000 miles with it's original owner. As long as it's in decent condition when purchased it should give years of enjoyment, even at this age.
I'm the 2nd owner of my 93 900S and have loved the almost 10 years I've been driving it. Great performance and style given it's age. I've had to put some repairs into it (approx $1200 per yr parts & labor). The cost of the car and repairs have more than paid for themselves. A great car!
I have had my 900s hatchback for over a year and she is wonderful.
