The Honda Passport has long been one of the best 2-row midsize SUV options for people who want something bigger and more capable, but don’t need a third row. It comes with plenty of room for passengers and gear and is fitted with standard tech that buyers expect in a modern vehicle.

Here’s a look at our three favorite things about the 2026 Honda Passport.

1. TrailSport’s Off-Road Gear

The 2026 Passport TrailSport is more than an appearance package this year. Honda wants to make sure that Passport owners know they’re getting more serious about off-roading. The Passport Trailsport is packed with all-terrain tires, an off-road-tuned suspension, steel skid plates, high-visibility recovery hooks, and Honda’s i-VTM4 All Wheel Drive system. Ground clearance stays at the same 8.3 inches as other trim, but that’s enough to make it capable of handling uneven terrain.

2. Trailwatch Camera System

The TrailSport Elite adds Honda’s second-generation Trailwatch Camera System. It works with the Passport’s Multi-View Camera System to give you a clearer view of the terrain around the Passport and its path. This can come in handy when the trail gets a little complex. Trailwatch gives a different perspective, assisting you in fitting through those tough spots.

3. A Long List of Standard Tech

Honda doesn’t make you pay more for modern features. Even the base RTL trim gets a modern tech system, so you don’t have to move up to higher trims to get features you’ll use every day. The base RTL trim comes with a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, 10.2-inch digital instrument display, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, and a power tailgate. The large touchscreen gives the cabin a contemporary feel, while wireless smartphone connectivity helps keep your phone from distracting you.

The 2026 Honda Passport is ready for any adventure, on the road or off. You’ll be equipped with the tools you need that add just a little more comfort to the ride.
