Here are just three of our favorite things about the 2026 Honda CR-V.
1. Expansive Interior
The CR-V is a compact SUV, but nothing about the interior feels compact. Occupants can stretch out with 41 inches of legroom. Behind the passenger seats, there’s even more to love. An impressive 39.3 cubic feet of cargo space is available. When the rear seats are folded, that space stretches to 76.5 cubic feet, the best in its class.
2. Elevated Tech
All CR-V models now come standard with a 9-inch touchscreen display. Previously, this was only available for higher trim levels. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also now standard, as is a wireless phone charger. The top-tier EX-L trim gets a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, while the other trims enjoy a 7-inch display. These minor tech updates add to the overall appeal of the tried-and-true CR-V.
3. Enhanced Safety
When it comes to safety, the CR-V comes very well equipped. Many standard safety features are bundled in the Honda Sensing Suite, such as collision-mitigating braking, road-departure mitigation, lane-departure warning, forward collision warning, and more, plus adaptive cruise control. It received a 5-star overall score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the highest possible score for a vehicle.
